Why have we lost so many black men to police shootings and beatings? Especially young, black males

Trayvon Martin, Freddie Gray, Michael Kirvelay, Philando Castile, Alton Sterling, Jamar Clark.  Men in the prime of their lives.  Society wants to blame them for their own deaths.  They were; “in the wrong place at the wrong time” or “had a past”.  Whether they did or not means nothing.  People want to say; “Black men abandon their children”.

With the fact that cops seem bent on wiping them out, abandoning their children seems not only like a stereotype, it also seems like a conspiracy.  How can you stay with your children when you are dead? I am including black women in this too, since the death of Sandra Bland is still being covered up.  I doubt she killed herself.

I am appalled by this.  Not as a white person with black friends and family, but as a human being.  We are all in this together.  Cops seem to forget this.  Yes, there are people who want to kill cops.  Yes, there are times when cops have no choice but to use force.  My understanding of that ends when you make it obvious that your use of force varies depending on the color of the person’s skin.
