PRISONER RIGHTS

Just because someone is in jail or prison doesn’t mean they should have their health needs ignored.  Health care is a human right yet people have gone to jail and died if cancer because treatment was denied and/or symptoms were ignored.  Women have had miscarriages in jail.  People have been denied their HIV drugs and ended up with full-blown AIDS.  The list goes on and on.

Going to jail doesn’t mean you stop being human.
