Parrish Medical Center

I was assaulted there in 2008 while giving birth to my son.  Dr Elvis Alfonso turned off my epidural without permission and forced me to push.  He assaulted me.  I ended up with PTSD, which the hospital and Dr Alfonso then twisted to make me seem like a neglectful parent.  This caused me to lose custody of my son permanently.

The hospital tried to say the epidural was turned off to help me push.  This was proven to be a lie in 2010 when I gave birth to my daughter, also at Parrish but with a different doctor.  I was allowed to leave the epidural on the entire time as is my right and I gave birth to my daughter just fine.  In fact, because I wasn’t traumatized by pain I did not have any emotional issues and have been able to raise her just fine.

Science has now shown that pain relief during labor is a key factor in whether or not a woman has postpartum depression.  So is consent.  If you do not consent, even during childbirth, it is rape.
